This week has been a huge one for Shakespeare Shenanigans as they continue their metro tour, with performances at Seton Catholic College, Churchlands SHS, Newman College, Prendiville Catholic College and Foundation Christian College. The feedback from staff and students alike has been fantastic and Andy and Stu have been having a ball! The gorgeous Leah Miche performed at Curtin University this, joined by the talented and delightful Reilly Craig and th utterly hilarious Mario the (almost) Magnificent Magician. Corporate events around the state have been treated variously to Zap Circus adagio performance, The Jessie Gordon Trio, Natalia Trio and Sensational Stilts, amongst others and one very lucky school featured the stunning Kinetica arial performance. Accordionist extraordinaire Eddie Staszak performed at a private event and the blistering Proud Mary performed at a QLD mine site. Add Explosive Dance and the incandescent Kasey Chambers this weekend at a WA Mine site and we have yet another wonderful week at Big Sky Entertainment!

Curtin University was treated not only to some beautiful weather this week but also to the treats and talents of Mickey Shaked, Famous Sharron, Flurotrash and Monarchy Duo. Faux P!nk will be surprising one very lucky birthday boy and Carbon Taxi will be delighting an audience at a private function. Double Agent will be wowing Wheatstone this weekend, Shakespeare Shenanigans is commencing a 4 week metro tour this Monday and…Nikki Dagostino and Astrobat are, in fact, going to Kurra Minesite this weekend – apologies for the error from last week. It makes this week even more exciting…and this is only a taste.

Well, we survived what was a less than smooth crossing last weekend to Rottnest – but it was worth it to see those masters of swashbuckle, The Hollywood Heroes, bring delight to the faces of adults and children alike during the Rottnest Carnivale. The rest of the weeks has been and is continuing to be a wonderfully frenetic one at Big Sky. The stunning Nikki Dagostino and suave Astrobat Duo are performing at the Kurra Village Mine Site, Wheatstone have quite a line up over the next week, hosting the delightful Rag Dolls, Scott Prince (former professional Australian International and Queensland State of Origin Rugby League Player) and Kim Hughes, former Australian Test Cricket Captain, who will be providing seminars as part of Mental Health Week. The gorgeously garish Fluro Trash are performing at a 40th and Mickey Shaked will be performing for a 60th Birthday party. The Polka Dots will be down at the beautiful Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on Monday as part of the Morning Melodies program. APLNG at Curtis Island will be rocking to the sounds of Mason Rack and special mention must go to the stunning Bollywood dancers for their performance at The Quarie Bar. I know I’ve missed some – and apologies to those I have !
