Looking suspiciously but gloriously like the little Desi Turtle from last week, Curtin Uni was graced with the eye-poppingly vibrant Daffy Dill this week. She was joined by the hilarious Famous Sharron, the incredible roving feats of Ricochet Circus, the sultry sounds of Electrochic, Libby Hammer and her Pirate Stilts, more smooth sounds from the Little Bird Duo and Daffy Silly Dilly’s – more stilts with a floral theme!
In the corporate sector, Explosive Dance performed their wonderful Cheerleader routines and Matthew Hale, Comedy Hypnotist extraordinaire worked his magic at the Beverley Men’s Group.
At the WA Mine Sites this weekend, the wonderful Greg McNeill, one of WA’s most talented and loved actors, is hosting an Open Mic Night and will be joined by the incredible band Afrotropik fronted by the stunning Grace Barbe.

A huge two weeks!

It’s been a very busy two weeks and there’s so much wonderful stuff to write about – buckle up for an onslaught of tales of the talented!
In the week before last Curtin University played host to the gorgeous Miss Red Stilts, the beautifully debonair Anatomically Incorrect Gentlemen and the lovely Emily Joy Duo.
The Nameless Jarndunmunha Festival in Tom Price has a massive following and saw singer Taylor Henderson and the Red Top Circus Duo perform.
The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre’s Morning Melodies program also has a huge patronage and was treated to the stunning singer Laura Bernay.
Shakespeare Shenanigans delighted yet another high school with their brilliantly funny take on the bard.
In corporate events that wee, the Jessie Gordon Quartet performed as did the vibrant Swing It Dancers.
The WA Mine Sites hosted Wendell Sailor, star of both Rugby League and Union, for a Bledisloe Cup event and Jerico band brought the music.
Phew! One week down but another busy week to go!
At Curtin this week the wonderful Olman Walley played again – he was hard to see for the crowds of people surrounding him!b But his music was thrilling – it was no surprise he drew the crowd. The wonderful Matt Swift, incredible up-close roving magician delighted the students as did Reilly Craig – singer and guitarist and the Broken Pokers Duo.
The WA Mine Site hosted the sultry and cheeky Summers Soul Band, fronted by the gorgeous Cathrine Summers.
A QLD Mine Site hosted alternative blues/roots musician Matt Stillert and The Garden City Italian Food Event thrilled to the sounds of singer and guitarist Federico Chianucci.

Roving entertainment is a centuries old tradition and we are so lucky to have this tradition honoured by such talented performers as those we had working for us this week and weekend. They move amongst us on skates, stilts and even their own two feet but what they offer to all who encounter them is nothing but pure child-like wonder.
This week the riotous Flurotrash, Glimmer Stilts,. Flame Duo and Bushranger and Swagman Stilts Duo delighted crowds at Curtin Uni. The weekend was no less fascinating, with Lizard Stilts, Robbie T (incredible up-close magic!) Ricochet Circus and the hilarious Edward De Bozo also performing at Curtin Uni.
But special mention must also go to the wonderfully energetic and incredibly slick HiNRG performing at a WA Mine site. Such a huge week has been had – let’s keep banishing that winter chill with all the talent Perth has to offer!
