Commemorating 100 Years

It has been a wonderful week in the lead up to a very moving weekend, commemorating 100 years since the landing at Gallipoli. In corporate events this last week, Big Sky was proud to provide entertainment of such calibre as Strung Out, the incredible string ensemble. They received wonderful praise indeed…“They were fantastic and so well received – everyone was talking about hem, including the caterer and we will be sure to recommend them for future events.”
Curtin University saw out the week in fine style with the likes of Kinetica, rocking trio Double Agent and soloist Reilly Craig adding a welcome vibrancy to the campus. And Wanneroo Senior College had nothing but high praise for those Bard battlers, Shakespeare Shenanigans. “It was great! We had about 100 kids there from Yrs 7 to 12 and they were enthralled! It was a fabulous experience for our kids.” – John Foreman, Drama Teacher.
WA Mine Sites were in for a treat this weekend with sensational comedy Hypnotist Matthew Hale heading up, alongside Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys for the ANZAC Celebrations and Scott Ferguson playing the trumpet for the haunting Last Post.
A wonderful free public event in the city included the likes of the Cottontail Trio and the Supper Club Band as well as the dazzling Darling Buds of May, a fitting tribute to a seminal point in our history.
