Huge congratulations to talented singer Katherine John from the amazing cover band DeJaVu (check out their info page on our website), who has been invited to participate an intensive recording/songwriting course in Hollywood, LA, in July. We wish her all the best!
DeJaVu are a talented duo/trio, covering all your favourite songs from jazz, pop, rock and more. With a combination of Katherine’s vocals and Reggie’s percussion prowess, along with the option of popular Perth musician Craig Skelton on keyboards, they suit any event from parties to weddings, corporate events, family events and festivals.

On 1st May, 2011, Sir Bob Geldof will be joined by Jon Stevens (Noiseworks, INXS) and Danielle Spencer for a one-off show in Sydney at the Lyric Theatre, Star City Casino. All monies raised through ticket salesand donations will help support the Australian Red Cross for their Victoria Floods Appeal, New Zealand Earthquake Appeal and Japan and Pacific Disaster Appeal as well as the Queensland Premier’s Disaster Relief Fund to provide hope and inspiration to communities affected by recent natural disasters in Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

Popular and talented Perth band Stone Circle, fresh from the launch of their second album ‘Living For The Sunshine’, have been personally invited by Sir Bob Geldof’s management to perform at the exclusive after party of the charity event ‘Rock and Rebuild’. To be held at the Star City Casino’s newest bar ‘Rock Lily’, they will perform to a guest list of Sir Bob’s personal friends and music industry colleagues.

Justin Griffiths has a growing reputation as one of Perth’s leading photographers and videographers. His imagery has been described as beautiful, clean, dream like and unique. Recognised within the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and with an Advanced Diploma of Photography under his belt, Justin is able to draw upon his experience in the areas of design, lighting, colour and post production to deliver outstanding results.

With a background of nearly a decade in the film industry, Justin has had the opportunity to work on large scale productions in Vancouver, London, Sydney and Melbourne. He has had the privilege of working alongside actors such as Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage and Hugh Jackman; along with renowned directors Baz Luhrmann and James Cameron.

Between his broad film knowledge and understanding of the language of cinema, combined with his experience and qualifications, Justin has a unique position within the exciting new style dubbed ‘Fusion Photography’ (photography embracing the combination of Video and Stills).

Big Sky Entertainment’s Rebecca Davis is currently rehearsing for the Black Swan State Theatre Company’s next production of Madagascar by J.T Rogers.

Madagascar is the haunting story of a mysterious disappearance that changes three lives forever.

At three different points in time, three people find themselves in the same hotel room overlooking the Spanish Steps in Rome: June, a young woman who works as a tour guide of the city’s ancient ruins; Lilian, her wealthy and elegant jet-setting mother; and Nathan, an awkward university economist and the best friend of Lilian’s deceased husband.

Slowly, their individual stories unfold: their relationship to each other, what this room means to them, and why they have been called to it slowly reveal themselves. As their stories spill out and weave back and forth – each contradicting, clarifying, or deepening what the others say – the strands join to form one gripping and disquieting tale.
