It’s beginning to look a lot like…our busiest time of the year!

It’s our busiest time of year, so busy we haven’t had a chance to champion all the terrific performers we’ve had performing over the last week…until now!
There have been corporate events galore in the lead up to Christmas and this is just a smattering of the talented artists who have performed. Acoustica, Xmas Wishes, Gabriella’s Vibe, Amanda Canzurlo Trio, Lachy Reid MC, The Anatomically Incorrect Gentlemen, Matt Swift (Magician), The Mill Point Quartet, Toy Soldiers Stilts (Toodyay Chamber of Commerce Xmas Event) and Chris Franklin (comedian).
At Curtin Uni the Lipstick Rollers, Michelle Smith Harpist and Glenn Rogers (guitarist) performed.
It’s also the season for weddings and parties and Robbie T performed as did the Ambrosia Trio – twice!
The Mines sites rocked to 90’s grunge with the Nahvana tribute show fronted by Justin Burford, who also played a solo gig. More very soon, now that this week is almost over too!

A huge two weeks!

It’s been a very busy two weeks and there’s so much wonderful stuff to write about – buckle up for an onslaught of tales of the talented!
In the week before last Curtin University played host to the gorgeous Miss Red Stilts, the beautifully debonair Anatomically Incorrect Gentlemen and the lovely Emily Joy Duo.
The Nameless Jarndunmunha Festival in Tom Price has a massive following and saw singer Taylor Henderson and the Red Top Circus Duo perform.
The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre’s Morning Melodies program also has a huge patronage and was treated to the stunning singer Laura Bernay.
Shakespeare Shenanigans delighted yet another high school with their brilliantly funny take on the bard.
In corporate events that wee, the Jessie Gordon Quartet performed as did the vibrant Swing It Dancers.
The WA Mine Sites hosted Wendell Sailor, star of both Rugby League and Union, for a Bledisloe Cup event and Jerico band brought the music.
Phew! One week down but another busy week to go!
At Curtin this week the wonderful Olman Walley played again – he was hard to see for the crowds of people surrounding him!b But his music was thrilling – it was no surprise he drew the crowd. The wonderful Matt Swift, incredible up-close roving magician delighted the students as did Reilly Craig – singer and guitarist and the Broken Pokers Duo.
The WA Mine Site hosted the sultry and cheeky Summers Soul Band, fronted by the gorgeous Cathrine Summers.
A QLD Mine Site hosted alternative blues/roots musician Matt Stillert and The Garden City Italian Food Event thrilled to the sounds of singer and guitarist Federico Chianucci.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

A busy week and some new delights from Libby Hammer…

A very late post from us this week but we have been busy not only with our stunning performers plying their trade this week but also with introducing new acts on the website – always exciting! Amongst the wonderful performers we’ve had working this week has been the sidesplittingly funny Chris Franklin who had them rolling in the aisles up at a Pilbara mine site this weekend and the inimitable Murphy’s Lore performed at another mine site in WA. I’d like to draw attention this week to the incredible Libby Hammer – her Hip Mo’ Toast Big Band and the Hammer Nine are now both live on the site as well as a cheeky little duo for hers, The Anatomically Incorrect Gentlemen, with a lovely young performer who looks suspiciously like Jessie Gordon – this lady is indomitable. Check out these pictures to see just the breadth of Libby’s talent!
