Winter Wonderland

Winter is almost upon us but you wouldn’t know it from the hive of activity in the Big Sky office – this has been a huge week and the weekend is heating up as well!
Curtin University has been celebrating Reconciliation Day and we’ve been proud to have Big Sky performers Tornina Torres and the Lizard Stilt walkers contribute their talents to this important event. The enigmatic Madame Zee and lovely Nat Ripepi have also performed at Curtin this week.
The Opening Night of Black Swan State Theatre Company’s “Glengarry Glen Ross” was a huge success and electric trio Retrofit were the perfect band to accompany the elevated mood.
WA Mine sites have had a treat with Petero Civoniceva visiting for the State of Origin event. Regarded as a true warhorse, Petero is one of the most respected men in Rugby League, with a medal in his name being awarded every year to the Australian Fijian league player of the Year.
Nat Ripepi, at the end of a busy week is also playing the WA sites and personal trainer extraordinaire Emma Leonard will be putting some lucky people through their paces!
Shakespeare Shenanigans continue their triumphant march throughout WA schools, performing at MLC and St Stephen’s College this week.
The stunning Kinetica performed their breathtaking aerial silks act at a corporate event this week.
One of Big Sky’s newest performers, Ella E performed at an open mic night at the Indie Bar on Friday – a truly stunning young performer.
There are private parties galore this weekend, with retro sensations, The CoverGirls performing at a 50th Birthday in Mandurah, the suave Rock Mobsters, also performing at a huge 50th Birthday event down south, Eddie Staszak and Roberto Balsamo “Echoes of Italy”, both playing at 50th Birthdays and the dynamic Rockafellas also strutting their stuff at yet another birthday – a lot of felicitations due for late autumn babies!Rock-Mobsters-•-Reg-Blue-•-890-x-368
