In 2010 Ali created and performed two sold-out seasons of Minor Major Marlene, Downstairs at His Majesty's Theatre and at the Ellington Jazz Club, and in 2011 Ali performed and created Franklin - The Music of Aretha Franklin, again to sold out seasons Downstairs at The Maj and The Ellington.
