Al MEDIO SON' line up is a mix of musician from different South American countries, bringing together their musical background and their love for Cuban and Latin music.

Al MEDIO SON has been performing in W.A. during the last 3 years for many venues and restaurants, and always being an important part of the Latino Film Festival.

Their repertoire is characterised by the traditional “cancion popular” Cuban sound. The power and live energy comes from the conjunction of many vocalists harmonising together in the classic “coro”. Genres: Cuban Son, trova, Cancion Popular, Bossa Nova, Bolero.

AL MEDIO SON plays Buena Vista Social Club, Nico Saquito, Compay Segundo, Eliades Ochoa, Carlos Puebla, Guillermo Portabales, amongst some many other popular Cuban and South American composer (Brazilian, Chilean, etc).

Al MEDIO SON can perform as a trio (Two guitars and percussion), a quartet or a quintet, according to your needs, venue and budget.
