Christian Zappia - A young singer with a matured taste and experience

Christian Zappia is an emerging singer-guitarist who has enjoyed a love of music from a young age.

He started singing whilst in high school and has enjoyed taking lessons with well-known Bunbury entertainers Courtney Gledhill, Ray Risdon, and, more recently respected vocal tutor Edwina Masson (EDDE).

A Triple J boy at heart, Christian enjoys most types of music. Jack Johnson has been a family favourite musician since he was a child, with other influences including Paul Kelly, Van Morrison and Don McLean. His love of Australian music is highlighted in his playlist and he holds the likes of Boy and Bear, Missy Higgins and Bob Evans in high esteem.

Christian has been writing his own music for the past six years and these songs reflect his maturing tastes and experience. His performances include a combination of originals plus his take on popular covers.

He has developed a strong following with gigs at an array of venues including WAMFest (backing Sydnee Carter), Budburst Small Bar, Ugly Duckling Wines, and The Claremont Hotel, as well as numerous private events, weddings and sundowners.

Christian has been a regular soloist at the South West Performing Arts Eisteddfod and has placed in all of his performances.
