JASON AYRES

JASON AYRES

THERE ARE TWO KINDS OF PEOPLE IN THE WORLD. THOSE WHO HAVE DISCOVERED JASON AYRES AND THOSE WHO ARE ABOUT TO.

With his songs receiving airplay across mainstream media outlets like 96.FM, Mix 94.5 and the ABC, and his constant drive to perform around Australia, it's hard to ignore his ever growing presence in the Australian music scene.

Influenced by the rhythmic pop of John Mayer, the vocal styling of Jeff Buckley and the finesse of Ryan Adams, WA based singer-songwriter JASON AYRES delivers a unique brand of acoustic based pop tunes, while giving a nod to alternative country and folk.

Having performed to sold out crowds in iconic music venues around the country, his intimate live show and eloquent presence have earned him spots supporting international chart toppers like Rick Astley, Hot Chocolate, Manhattan Transfer, Leo Sayer, Gary Puckett & the Union Gap and Midge Ure (Ultravox), as well as Australian icons like Russell Morris, James Reyne, Daryl Braithwaite, Mark Seymour, Jon Stevens, Ian Moss, Tex Perkins, Black Sorrows, Mental As Anything, 1927, Pseudo Echo, James Cruikshank (The Cruel Sea) and Wendy Matthews.

JASON AYRES launched his all acoustic album to a SOLD OUT Astor Theatre in Perth 2014 and he supported the Whitlams in 2015.
