HANNAH FARLEIGH - Flautist

A recent graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Hannah Farleigh is proving to be a sought after flautist for both solo performances, trios and quartets.

Hannah started tutoring on the flute at age 10 and hasn't looked back. She studied the Bachelor of Music course at UWA and continued her classical performance studies at WAAPA.

She has performed as principle flautist for the Faith Court Orchestra, the opera production of 'The Dialogue of the Carmelites', flautist in the WAAPA wind quintet and a member of the Fisenden Flute Orchestra.

Hannah has completed several recordings for companies including: the ABC music label for the New York School Project in 2009, soundtrack to accompany a music theatre production of 'Ivanov' and a sound track for a WAAPA short film, produced by the WAAPA Screen Academy.

She has also had the privilege of taking part on several fundraiser and charity performances in the Faith Court Orchestra and also the Western Australian Charity Orchestra, raising money for Princess Margaret Hospital. Hannah also teaches flute, and is currently a music tutor at two Perth Colleges.
