Diggy Bones is one of the most unique and loved comedy presenters working in WA today. Since bursting on to the scene in 2008, Diggy has rapidly risen to establish himself as one of the best MCs in the business, having been booked to present for international acts such as Bjorn Again and the legend ary Tom Jones!

 

With his hysterical, larger than life personality, easy rapport with his audience and unforgettable style, Diggy has quickly found a large cross-over appeal that has seen him MC for an increasingly wide variety and range of events: from comedy to musical concerts, corporate functions, burlesque shows and beyond. DIGGY BONES:

Diggy regularly plays host for Sugar Blue Burlesque (WA's premiere burlesque troupe and academy) as well as the world famous Dr Sketchy's Anti Art School. As MC Diggy has hosted the City of Perth's New Years Eve Celebration 2009-2010, RTRfm's annual Radiothon opening party and the Laugh Out Proud Comedy Gala in 2009, the Northbridge Festival for Artrage 2008, and the national music festival Summadayze.

Ever the showman, Diggy is also a gifted singer, recently appearing as guest vocalist for Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys in the sellout show "Rhythm Spectacular".

Diggy and his backing band "The Tokens of Love" supported Tripod for two massive sold out shows for the "Live at the Quarry" entertainment series of 2008. They then performed at the 2009 Melbourne International Comedy Festival with their debut cabaret show featuring all original material "Return to Greatness", earning them critical acclaim.

Diggy has also appeared on national TV for the Channel V game show "Cash Cab", radio stations RTRfm and 92.9fm and the mocumentary "The Rise and Fall...and Rise Again of Diggy Bones".

BEN SUTTON - STANDUP COMEDIAN & CREATOR OF "DIGGY BONES" :

Ben Sutton is a West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) graduate in acting. He has extensive experience as a professional actor, singer and comedian. He has toured both nationally and internationally and has worked with local companies Barking Gecko, Buzz Dance Theatre and with hybrid performance practitioners pvi collective.

He is one of WA's top standup comedians as well as an experienced improviser, a gifted MC and first-rate comedic character actor.

Ben was a WA state finalist in the 2008 Triple J Raw Comedy competition as well as the Green Faces Comedy Competition. He was team captain for the Sci-Tech Comedy Debate and the host for the Laugh Out Proud Comedy Gala in 2009, a year that also saw him tour successfully to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

As an improviser Ben works regularly with "The Big Hoo Haa", WA's top live improvised comedy show as well as the popular "Free Love Impro" and the new improvisation show with puppets, "Fuppets".

As a comedy performance character actor, Ben is responsible for developing the popular and enigmatic Diggy Bones.
