Jay Weston

Jay Weston is rapidly emerging as one of Australia's most admired "Popera" cross over artists. His flair lies with his ability to provide an astonishing variety of vocal genres in collaboration with his remarkable keyboard skills.

Originally from Perth, this popular young entertainer has had many years of experience in numerous opera and theatre productions nationally and internationally

Discovering an early passion and talent for music, he completed a Bachelor of Music (Classical) at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and a Post Graduate Diploma at Queensland Conservatorium.

Jay is a remarkably versatile performer with an extensive repertoire ranging from the Italian Arias to Musical Theatre, romantic love songs and popular ballads to the favourites from the "Rat Pack". From Bocelli to Buble, there is something to suit everyone's taste

He is also an accomplished pianist and musical arranger, and often provides his own accompaniment on the keyboards.

Jay has performed with the Queensland Opera Company and the Australian Opera Company, appearing at the Sydney Opera House. He has been contracted to appear at many high profile venues in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, including:

- Conrad Jupiter's Casino on the Gold Coast
- Perth Convention Centre
- Perth Concert Hall
- The Western Force opening ceremony, and subsequent games at Subiaco Oval to a crowd of some 38000 fans

He has had numerous television appearances and radio airplay including:

- Telethon (for the past four years)
- The Telethon 2005 closing ceremony ( he was overseas in 2006)
- Telethon Seniors Concert
- Telethon Lexus Ball 2007
- The Oz Concert (for the last four years)
- Constant exposure on many of West Australia's radio stations.

Jay is currently contracted to entertain on the prestigious Silverseas and Oceania Cruise Liners.
