With a vocal sound compared to the likes of Florence Welsh and Pj Harvey, LEAH MICHE delivers a strong repertoire of folk, indie and roots inspired music, playing both original and covers.
Performing since 2007, LEAH has toured nationally and recorded and released three cd’s with long time roots trio Miche Suite and with her current outfit – The Regular Hunters.
Supporting the likes of Matt Corby, Ash Grunwald, Lior, Liz Stringer, Jebediah, Abbe May and performing at Nannup Festival, Hidden Treasures festival, Fringe World Festival, Denmark Festival of Voice , WAM Festival, Fremantle Art Centre Courtyard Sessions, Northbridge Festival, Southbound Festival and a song nominated for a 2010 Blues and Roots WAM song of the year award.
LEAH is continuing to evolve as a respected songwriter in the WA music scene and as a wonderful vocalist loved by music lovers wherever she has performed.
