Alana McLean is a Perth based TV and Radio Presenter.
Most recently, Alana was a TV host on Australia’s first Digital News Network, Ticker News based in Melbourne, hosting news bulletins, the Breakfast show ‘Jumpstart’ and her own feature program ‘TickHER’ – showcasing the success and achievements of business women and celebrities.
In addition to her work on screen, Alana has 4 years experience in Commercial Radio – hosting Breakfast and Drive shows for some of Australia’s leading media companies including;
SevenWest Media (RED FM WA)
Southern Cross Austereo (Mix 94.5)
Grant Broadcasters (Star 1063 QLD).
Alana has been a guest columnist for PerthNOW – a subsidiary of The West Australian newspaper, a guest Presenter on Channel 7’s Today Tonight and Channel 7’s Telethon – leading the $15,000 challenge with Australian comedian and star of Kath & Kim, Pete Rowsthorn.
In 2019, Alana was awarded a prestigious ACRA award, the highest award for the Australian Commercial Radio Industry, for her interview with music superstar and Grammy Award winner, David Guetta.
Alana has had a strong relationship with Racing via Racing and Wagering WA. She has been hosting the prestigious Fashions on the Field program in WA for 3 years.
