Delilah channels her wheatbelt upbringing in her songs – her lyrics conjure the landscape and characters of our own Wild West with an unflappability, a plain-spoken emotional honesty and a razor-sharp sense of humour.
She’s backed by a dynamic five-piece band, whose toe-tapping live set has seen the band play festival stages including Boyup Brook Country Music Festival, Fringe World, Nannup Music Festival, Mount Helena Alt-Country Music Festival and the RTR FM Winter Music Festival.
In June 2018, Delilah Rose and the Gunslingers released the rollicking single ‘Big Moon’, accompanied by a fun-filled music video. Garnering significant national community radio play and described by Triple J’s Nkechi Anele as “a total bop-a-long tune with so much spunk!”, ‘Big Moon’ is taken from the band’s forthcoming second EP, releasing in October.
