Whether they are playing at your local wine bar or your corporate business lunch, you won’t be able to help but tap your foot along and be intrigued by their passion for music and their unique take on your favourite songs.
Sinead’s appetite for singing began at an early age but became a career decision when she began vocal training after high school. Born and raised in Perth, she has built her reputation over the last year and a half performing at local venues including Universal Bar, Canton Bar & Lounge, The Moon Cafe, The Publican Bar & Cafe, as well as a number of private functions such as weddings, corporate events, birthdays and other occasions. Sinead’s voice is not only powerful but also versatile, meeting somewhere between the smoothness of Norah Jones, the jazzpop eclectic sounds of Kimbra and the bluesy tones of Rickie Lee Jones; a combination that is helping to make her one of the most dynamic young singers on the local Perth music scene.
Sinead’s voice is perfectly complimented by the unbounded skills of Todd ByromCarter on guitar. Todd completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Music Performance at WAAPA in 2012 and has since played in various bands and shows around Perth in both the corporate and local scene. For two years, he was also part of the WAYJO (Western Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra), where he gained invaluable experience as part of a Big Band, playing traditional jazz swing music. He is in constant demand for his unique skills as a crossover player/performer, arranger and tutor.
Malcolm Mah on bass is testimony that one is never too old, or young, to switch careers and pick up an instrument in midlife. A recent graduate of the Western Australian Academy Of Performing Arts (WAAPA), he finds himself busy as a bassist with numerous local bands and ensembles.
Originally from NSW, Alex moved to Perth in 2012 to study Contemporary Music Performance at WAAPA to hone his skills as a touring and session drummer. Having previously supported artists including The Whitlams, Dragon, Pharaohe Monch, The Herd and Illy, Alex’s current genres of interest cover everything from classic Rock & Roll to Neo Soul.
Together, the four piece incorporate popular songs from across the board and add their own bluesy flavour that provides their music with a whole new level of dynamism. Captivating audiences with their musicianship and professional prowess across the Perth circuit, Eerie Anne cater to a wide variety of events, parties, corporate functions, shows and weddings.
Eerie Anne’s versatility means that booking them for your event will provide it with something different to the everyday cover band.
