After a fleeting relationship with rhythm guitar, Federico embarked on a journey with the classical guitar, fascinated by the beauty and potential of the instrument. This led him to perform concerts throughout the stunning province of Tuscany.
Federico’s musical soul was won over not just by the classical guitar but by the extraordinary sounds of Mark Knopfler, the charismatic leader of Dire Straits. Initially, he was drawn to the tone and delicate crystalline sound of Knopfler’s guitar but Federico soon began to dream of writing songs where the guitar plays a major role – a feature virtually absent in Italian pop music. His progressive development of a unique finger-picking technique allows him to perform in an original and versatile way. Federico’s performances take shape with a broad repertoire of songs influenced by folk, country, classical and jazz.
Early in 2013, Federico moved to Perth and started a new chapter of his journey into music. Whilst delivering beautiful performances at private events and public functions, you might also be lucky enough to stumble across him busking in the city or Fremantle.
