Joan & The Giants are an alternative-pop band from Perth, Western Australia creating powerful, emotive and lyrically charged music.
The trio have come together from unlikely places; Grace from an organic farm down South of Perth and Aaron from a remote Indigenous community outside of Broome called Beagle Bay. They met their drummer Riley in Perth and formed Joan & The Giants.
Joan & The Giants have already had some impressive highlights, which include being the main support act for ‘Odette’ on the Western Australian leg of her ‘Lotus Eater’ Tour and having ‘Hold Me’ played on Triple J. Grace also played at GTM Bunbury 2019 in a collaboration with WA electronic duo ‘Feels’.
Joan & The Giants have also had some impressive highlights as a cover duo and 4 piece band, travelling all over Western Australia and parts of Australia playing 3-4 hour shows, and entertaining audiences at small pubs to large clubs, weddings, birthdays and everything in-between. They have a repertoire of 3-5 hours of popular old and new covers and originals.
