The hallmark of this entertaining outfit is the superb vocals. Fronted by the gorgeous Cherri and her amazing vocal range, she is joined by all four members of the band, providing a depth of sound often missing from other bands.

Cherri – lead vocalist with NChant, Cherri has been performing since the tender age of 12 and has enjoyed success and great acclaim in everything she has been involved with. A lead singer with the band Junkmale, the band’s album enjoyed nationwide sales and led to them supporting major acts such as Black Sorrows, Mark Seymour and Chocolate Starfish. They performed in the worldwide Bandaid Concert in front of a 15’000 strong crowd. Cherri has also performed with Daryl Braithwaite, Bert Newton, Russell Morris and Brian Cadd.
John – a master of the acoustic guitar, specialising in jazz, classical and bluegrass. John’s incredible talents extend to providing the main male vocals for NChant as well as keyboard. As at home with Top 40 and Folk as he is with jazz, John’s ability with arrangements and harmonies give the band it’s wonderful edge.
Priam – A conservatory taugh guitarist and singer, Priam has played in Perth bands The NIght After, Off The Record and Booty Jooce, to name a few. He’s worked with Ignatius Jones, (Jimmy and the Boys), James Morrison and Grammy Award winning artist Phil Driscoll. He’s recorded with many Australian artists and released his first solo album “Burn” in 2005. From funk to rock, Priam can lay down a steady groove!
Lou – an outstanding groove merchant with a very sophisticated rhythm line. Lou has played in everything from Glenn Miller and Latin style Big Bands as well as being in demand as a sessional musician for bands such as New Romantics, Dr Bogus, NRG and Resound.
Ian – after abandoning his beloved piano in favour of drums, Ian began playing professionally by age 16, honing his skills on the competitive Sydney club circuit. Having toured nationally and played with a huge range of artists, such a members of Icehouse, Ian also lends his vocal talents to the Perth Bach Choir and WASO chorus.
