NIKKI DAGOSTINO – Piano Accordion extraordinaire!

A graduate of the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, she also received a scholarship for the Golden Key International Honour Society Award, in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement and excellence in educational studies.

Nikki is Perth’s foremost Multicultural Musician and Piano Accordionist. She has performed throughout most of Western Australia to critical acclaim, from major music and arts festivals to food shows, cocktail events, corporate functions, pre-dinner / dinner atmosphere, market and street festivals and much much more.

She has performed, supported and toured with National and International Artists including: The US Phenomenons, Toni Childs and The Drifters, as well as touring nationwide with Ireland’s Riverdance group, Ceol Chirrai. Nikki has also performed and supported national icons such as Graeme Lyall, Darryl Somers, James Morrison, Don Burrows, Marcia Hines, Joe Chindamo, Rove McManus, Darryl Braithwaite, Patric McMann and Tony Pantano.

1/ RED BERET – Solo Performance

Nikki’s solo accordion act, RED BERET, caters for any crowd, atmosphere, genre and style. her repertoire ranges from the Couture to the Contemporary – encompassing vintage classics, contemporary commercial hits and dance, German Polkas, Italian Waltzes, Tangos, Tarantellas and a large selection of French favourites.

2/ RED BERET TRIO

One of Nikki’s most recent outfits is a 3 piece French ensemble known as RED BERET TRIO. Composed of double bass, acoustic guitar and accordion, their repertoire combines the exotic sounds of gypsy jazz, married with Spanish and cafe flavours. A delightful treat!

3/ THE POLKA DOTS – Oktoberfest Band

To keep up the challenge, Nikki has brought a piece of Germany to Australia by combining a 4 piece busking style Oktoberfest band with the teasing sounds of German polkas, a hint of Belgian waltzes, a dash of beer drinking songs, a splash of Irish gigues and other multi-cultural flavours. THE POLKA DOTS band have been bouncing their way around cultural festivals, pubs and Oktoberfest events since 2008.

4/ CIRQUE APPETIT

Nikki has been collaborating with young, fresh, vibrant and professional circus performers, comedians and musicians for over 3 years. The impressive CIRQUE APPETIT are a fabulous cabaret/variety ensemble, showcasing delicious aerial dance/trapeze, ropes, hoops, swings, live music, comedy and much much more. Popular with corporate events and festivals, this is a terrific act guaranteed to impress your guests!
