With over 30 years of stage experience, she is a confident and engaging Master of Ceremonies, known for thinking on her feet and keeping events running smoothly.
Since founding Daisy Productions in 2002, Penny has written, produced, and performed in countless shows across Perth and regional Western Australia. Her credits include Downstairs at the Maj, Perth Concert Hall, Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, Broome Opera Under the Stars, Shinju Matsuri Festival, Perth International Arts Festival, Vienna Pops New Year’s Eve concerts, Perth Symphony Orchestra, Fremantle Chamber Orchestra, Fringe World Festival, and a wide range of corporate events.
Penny holds a degree in Human Sciences from Oxford University and earned a Distinction in Radio Broadcasting Skills at ECU. She co-presents Radio Fremantle’s long-running Arts Collage program with Dita Jevons and hosts the popular podcast Diary of a (teenage) Diva.
As one half of soprano duo DivaLicious, Penny has appeared as a finalist on Australia’s Got Talent, as well as on The Voice and Channel 7’s The Morning Show. Their award-winning shows have been performed everywhere from luxury cruise ships to the Sydney Opera House.
Her performance credits also include opera, with roles such as Despina in West Australian Opera’s Cosi Fan Tutte. She also received rave reviews as MC for the 30th Anniversary of Opera in the Park, performing to an audience of over 5,000 and many more online.
Known as the “MC with the High C,” Penny offers something extra by incorporating live singing into her hosting. From leading a singalong to enhancing key moments, she adds energy, versatility, and a memorable touch—without the need for an additional performer.
