Rupert Guenther’s evocative classical music takes audiences on an imaginative journey of feelings, images, and spirit of place. There is always depth and meaning in his original classical music, which is usually performed on an acoustic classical violin in an ambient or reflective environment. Every concert has a unique theme such as a geographic place in the world (“Southern Oceans Suite”), or the constellations in the sky (“Galaxy”), or personal reflections on life (“The Invisible Architecture Of Compassion”).
Commissions and recordings include five CDs for ABC Classic FM, and world premieres of new major concert-length commissioned works at Tate Britain (London), Museum of London Docklands, Guildhall Festival (London), Vorarlberg State Conservatorium (Austria), Bombora House (NYC, USA), National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne (Australia), UWA Winter Arts, Perth, St George’s Cathedral Perth, and Melbourne International Festival.
