To date, she, her duo, her trio and her band have performed at over 500 Perth weddings and almost 2000 pub venues.
SOPHIE JANE
Having gigged around the WA music scene for over 13 years now, she is a much loved billing at festivals and pub nights around the state. Her glittering stage presence and memorable sound turns heads and gets feet tapping wherever she goes, and as a result she is booked months in advance, often as the resident artist at popular Perth venues.
At the age of 14 she toured Australia, performing at festivals, and released her first independent EP with her first band, selling it at local gigs. In 2005, she moved to the city of Perth and started out playing at open mic nights and from there her career quickly progressed in leaps and bounds. She has since released 4 albums independently and is not finished yet!
SOPHIE JANE DUO
The Sophie Jane Duo consists of Sophie and her talented best friend Baedon Toi who plays guitar, sings and plays the drums on his feet! They are very versatile as they can play easy going songs or they can really get people up dancing. The duo are currently one of the top 3 duo’s on the Perth music scene and are very well known and liked throughout Perth City and regional WA area’s.
SOPHIE JANE TRIO
The Sophie Jane Trio is a build up on the duo with a Bass player/ singer added into the mix. Troy Nababan has been part of the Perth Music scene for over 10 years and has worked with some amazing people. His fluid bass sound and deep harmonic voice really add something to the group.
SOPHIE JANE BAND
The Sophie Jane Band is a band that can play all the hits to get people up dancing. They can groove away for hours. When you bring drums into the mix it creates this whole new dimension. Derrin Key is their drummer and he can really get those feet tapping. He is a complete perfectionist, which gels well with the rest of the band as they are all like this. The band plays hits from the 60’s until today.
