The Kicks are a three-piece live cover band consisting of electric and acoustic guitar, bass, vocals and drums. Performing classic hit songs from as far back as the 60’s and 70’s to the current radio hit songs. With 100’s of gigs under their belt consisting of numerous corporate events, private functions and performed live pub shows at Ocean One Bar with a long-time standing Saturday night residency, The Kicks know how to get the dance floor moving.
The band members consist of award winning musicians with years of live performing experience. Amongst other achievements, some of the band members of the band recently performed acoustic at the half-time show for Dockers V Collingwood Anzac Day match to 40,000 and have worked on Aria award winning and international albums.
The Kicks also offer the additional option to perform as a four piece or five piece band! Adding an additional member on keyboards to compliment piano based songs from artists such as Cold Chisel, The Doors, and a female singer to compliment female sung songs from artists such as Rihanna, Tina Turner, The Cranberries.
