DIXIE JOHNSTONE (Lead Vocals) has sung, choreographed, stage-managed and produced her way across the entertainment industries in Australia and abroad. An award-winning musical theatre performer, Dixie has also been the lead vocalist for over 10 different rock/pop cover bands in Perth. A star performer with a dynamic stage presence and vocal talent, she’ll have the crowd in the palm of her hand and ensure that your event is the talk of the town.

CARLY JOCHIMSEN (Lead Vocals) has been performing since the age of three in professional musicals around the UK such as Fame, Scrooge, Annie and Oliver and many more. She has danced at the Wembley stadium and London Paladium. Carly graduated from college with a degree in performing arts and then went into touring around the UK in a meatloaf tribute. After moving to Australia Carly has been gigging in girl band Lady Penelope and acoustic act Halo. She can’t wait to rock your next party or corporate event.

JESS HARRIS (Drummer) started playing at age 14, and has been playing in numerous original and cover acts for the last 10 years. She worked along side Eddie Parise from The Baby Animals in “Lady Penelope” and had a residency at Metro Freo, she also worked at different functions and corporate shows including Weddings, Yacht Clubs, Business events etc. She is currently also the drummer for the original act The Tommyhawks, who last year they supported Courtney Love on her Perth show at Metro City. Jess has enjoyed playing a vast variety of styles, from punk, heavy rock, grunge, rock and roll, jazz, blues, Motown, pop, commercial top 40 and more.

ELANA HAYNES (Lead Guitar) studied guitar with Lindsay Wells (Blues/rock n roll Perth guitarist who has played with many of the world’s great musicians including Eric Clapton) Elana studied music performance at Central TAFE and has performed and held residency in various venues around Perth and the surrounding area such as Stamford Arms, Leisure Inn, Black Bettys Nightclub, Beat Nightclub, Breakers Bar, The National, The Boat and so on. She has performed in both corporate and pub rock bands as well as acoustic trios and duo’s and is super excited to join the world of this all female rock outfit Velvet Amps.

NIKKI DAGOSTINO (Keyboard & Backing Vocals) is widely recognised as one of Australia’s most entertaining female Accordionist and Keyboard Players. She has performed as a soloist amongst countless alluring settings in WA, including major Music and Arts Festivals, food shows, cocktail events, corporate functions, pre-dinner/dinner atmosphere, market and street festivals, support acts and much more. She has worked, performed, supported and toured with National and International and National artists such as: Xavier Rudd, Toni Childs, The Drifters, Johnny Ruffo, Graeme Lyall, Darryl Somers, James Morrison, Don Burrows, Marcia Hines, Joe Chindamo, Rove Mc Manus and Darryl Braithwaite.
